The Scenic Rooms at the Lake Lodge
Emerald Lake Lodge was built in 1902 and restored to become a magnificent resort in the Canadian Rockies. Every room you step foot in, you’ll see a contemporary blend of old and new. Emerald Lake Lodge is a venue fit for both small weddings and larger ones with a guest list of up to 150 people. There are three different rooms to accommodate your wedding party, each equipped with a fireplace, a private balcony and an incredible view of the jade waters of Emerald Lake and mountainscape.
The President’s Room is located on the second floor of the main lodge. It’s ideal for smaller wedding parties of 24 guests. The Vice President’s Room features a sundeck to soak in the view of Emerald Lake. It can hold a wedding party of 88 people. Cilantro On the Lake is a standalone facility with large windows and high wood beam ceilings. It holds up to 64 people and is the only space on the property to accommodate a DJ and a dance party. As a bonus, the Yoho Lounge is available when booking either the President or Vice President’s room. It’s an optional ceremony location for intimate gatherings and cocktail receptions. If you’re looking to become one with nature when you become one with your partner, have a ceremony outdoors at the Viewpoint. Overlooking Emerald Lake and panoramic views of the mountains will make your day magical and memorable.
The Adventurous Amenities
Not many wedding venues offer recreation rooms and activities quite like Emerald Lake Lodge. Indulge your taste buds at their Yukon Saloon or enjoy a drink (or two) in their Kicking Horse Lounge. On the second floor of the main lounge, you will find reading rooms and a games room complete with a billiard table, TVs and computers. During the summer, you can enjoy the sauna, hot tub, and of course, the breathtaking view of Emerald lake. You can have an adventure outside of the lodge too! Activities like skiing, hiking and canoeing are available to you and your outdoorsy guests.
