Vancouver wedding venues

As a wedding photographer, I get to see a lot of fantastic wedding venues in Vancouver. From jaw-dropping scenery to cozy historic houses, this city has them all. When trying to figure out the right place for your wedding, all these choices can become overwhelming. Here’s a list of some of my favorite venues I’ve worked with to help you feel inspired.

Nine Unique Vancouver Wedding Venues

Brock House

Brock House has a little bit of something for everyone. This historic house was built in 1912 and now hosts some of Vancouver’s most fabulous weddings. This venue is a prime choice for midsize weddings with a garden tent, rentable rooms, and luscious spaces. With indoor and outdoor ceremony options, delectable food, and gorgeous scenery, Brock House is sure to have exactly what you want.

Cecil Green Park House

Cecil Green Park House feels more like a castle than a wedding venue! This Tudor-style house has unlimited options for planning your big day. Whether you’re looking for an intimate indoor wedding or a raucous outdoor party for up to 200 people, this house gives you options. By scheduling only one event per day, this venue is incredibly adaptable. Should the weather grow inclement, just move the party inside! With wonderful food covered by Vancouver’s Sage Catering and incredible views of the lush gardens, Cecil Green Park House is a charming venue option for any wedding.

Fairmont Waterfront Hotel

The famous Fairmont Waterfront Hotel is an excellent option for anyone searching for an indoor wedding space with tons of amenities. A fixture of the community since 1907, this venue offers options for any elegant wedding. The hotel’s Terrace Herb Garden is lovely for smaller events and post-ceremony pictures. Larger Vancouver weddings will come alive in the hotel’s Waterfront Ballroom venue. With grand crystal chandeliers, fantastic food, and an attentive waitstaff, your day will be perfect

Riverside Banquet Halls

Riverside Banquet Halls is the ideal spot for the creative eye. The venue offers space to host up to 250 guests and allows countless customizations. My favorite thing about this venue is the potential. While it starts as an empty space, you’re able to bring it to life with unique touches that will match your style. The venue features various menus and delicious desserts. With their help, you’ll create the wedding venue you want in the heart of Vancouver.

Minoru Chapel

The quaint Minoru Chapel is a lovely spot to host your ceremony. The historic chapel will give your wedding the accents you didn’t realize you needed. Featuring stained glass windows, hardwood floors, and wooded scenery, the chapel will help your guests get lost in the whimsy of the day. The chapel includes an exhaustive list of services, including musicians, food, and makeup artists. This quiet wedding venue is perfect for smaller Vancouver weddings.

While Grouse Mountain has been a popular Vancouver destination for years, it’s recently become one of my favorite wedding locations. Whether you want something rustic and organic or elegant and cozy, Grouse Mountain has the right space for you. The area has six locations you can choose from, including both indoor and outdoor options. Plus, Grouse Mountain offers local specialties, allowing you to experience one of Vancouver’s best wedding venues.

Hatley Castle was designed to be a place for hospitality. The castle has stood for over 100 years, and while it’s undergone a few identity changes, it has never lost its grandeur. With intricate stone carvings, grand oak doors, and vaulted ceilings, you’ll feel as though you’ve been whisked away into the pages of a fairytale. Featuring wonderful food services and versatile packages that let you explore the venue grounds, your Vancouver wedding will truly feel like magic.
